Heather Lang, Director of Nursing

I started my healthcare career in 2001, becoming a certified nursing assistant working in an ICU. In 2003 I furthered my career, attending Gateway Technical College. Those 4 years while attending school, I interned on the med/surgical floor giving me good learning opportunities. I graduated with my RN degree in 2006, I continued working in med/surgical because I got to know my patients and families.

In 2008 I started working for W.I.S.H. and truly believe we are the best when it comes to long term care and rehab. I was a floor nurse at Geneva Lake Manor until 2010 when I became the director of nursing at Holton Manor. I have learned so much from my residents I cared for. The elderly are truly amazing people. They have done so many interesting things in their lives and truly appreciate what we do as healthcare professionals.
